A Final Testament

of a Most Unlikely Messiah

Introduction

This was written, in part, as a parody of the continuing messianic expectations in the region, if not the world, and of the readiness of some to fall victim to messianic aspirations, their own and those of the people around them.

But the work is not entirely meant as a parody. For, despite the satirical connotations, I do subscribe to most, if not all, of the ideals advocated therein. How can I not? I, myself, been a victim to messianic aspirations, my own mostly.

Freedom

Have you really forgotten who I am, Brother? Have you really forgotten who I am, Brother?
